We’re thrilled to welcome new ICA LA members (Learning levels and above) to a workshop with Martian Press (MP), a local publisher and risograph printer in Los Angeles. Founded by artist Stephanie Lane Gage, Martian Press is dedicated to creating and publishing original content, zines, and prints by emerging and queer artists and writers. As the name suggests, MP has a thematic focus in science fiction and works of a speculative nature. MP also provides Risograph printing services and has been a partner with ICA LA’s current Bookshelf Resident GenderFail.

Workshop participants will learn the basics of Risograph printing along with its history as an artistic medium, and leave with a small edition of collaboratively created Risograph prints.
