CAL IRL @ ICA LA is an informal monthly gathering for art workers to listen, talk, get inspired, and take action.
Contemporary Art League (CAL) is a growing trade cooperative building unity, solidarity, and equity among art workers in Los Angeles County. All self-identified art workers are welcome to listen in—and participate, if you’re called to!—in CAL’s monthly volunteer working group meeting at ICA LA. CAL volunteers will work through their formal agenda, concluding with a teach-in and discussion on various topics at the intersection of art and labor.
