Music: Brendan Fowler and friends
Election Reform! is by Brendan Fowler, who makes his wearable call-to-action pieces to inspire dialog about voting system machinations. Election Reform! items are sold online directly to customers and can be found in some of the most exclusive designer boutiques around the world. The first Election Reform! Store is open to the public and hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles through January 2019.
Angelo Baque, is the founder of Baque Creative; Awake NY; and the former brand director of Supreme. Awake NY is a reflection of the diversity that has defined the city’s cultural landscape, a mixture of traditional menswear, streetwear and ‘90s athletic style. His most recent retail pop-up concept, Social Studies, is an education program with workshops aimed at a youth demographic, to offer skills, guidance, and the opportunity to create and develop their own creative edition.
Shaniqwa Jarvis captures a modern fashion aesthetic through her stirring photographic portraiture. She has just released her first catalog of portraits with Baque Creative. She is the co-creator of Social Studies, an experimental retail project that connects youth to the dynamic creative makers of today.
Please And Thank You Store is an LA showroom for marvelous vintage run by Jenny Tsiakals, renown fashion stylist and creative advisor.
