Each guest will enjoy breakfast on a page from Paper Placemats, a conceptual book and public art project created by J&L Books that has involved 30 artists, 10 writers, and 44 restaurants since 2004.

Jessica Wang is a second generation Chinese American artist, pastry chef, and fermentation educator based in Los Angeles who collaborates with her Taiwanese-born Wenzhounese mama, Peggy. They are the founders of Gu Grocery, a Chinese-Taiwanese catering & pop-up concept rooted in family recipes with traditional flavors; savory picnic-friendly food; 年糕 niangao sticky rice treats; and baked goods made with seasonal and local California ingredients. Visit Mama Peggy and Auntie Jess year-round when the Gu Grocery shop opens in LA’s Chinatown this year!
