Election Reform! by Brendan Fowler is part artist edition, part hardcore designer fashion project; part activism, and part recycling project. Fowler provokes dialogue about the American political system through a clothing experiment.
Election Reform! addresses the country’s controversial voting system through a mix of imagery, textures, and messaging. Election Reform! products and clothing come with downloadable readers on political reform and printed ‘zines. *Election Reform! *events are designed to ensure that everyone votes, every time, in fair elections.
The Election Reform! Store at ICA LA will be open during the midterm election season. “Drops,” or new item releases, will include artist and designer collaborations. Expect surprises as the project evolves.
