We’re excited to announce our new exhibitions and programs this January + February @theicala - our main gallery will feature a recreation of Swiss curator Harald Szeemann’s legendary 1974 exhibition, ‘Grandfather: A Pioneer Like Us’. Originally held in the curator’s apartment in Bern, Switzerland, a full-size reconstruction of Szeemanzn’s apartment with hundreds of his grandfather, Étienne Szeemann’s original objects and ephemera from his life and work as a hairstylist, beautician, and inventor will be on display in this surreal and deeply personal installation.
