Did you know there’s an apartment in our main gallery? A full-size reconstruction of the late curator Harald Szeeman’s home nearly 6000 miles away in Bern, Switzerland has been revived @theicala to create the 1974 installation, ‘Grandfather: A Pioneer Like Us’. Inside, the apartment has been filled with objects and inventions belonging to the curator’s grandfather, Étienne Szeemann, a noted hairdresser.
