Aquelarre no binario / Non-binary coven

Courtyard
Outdoor Projects

In conjunction with the opening of The Condition of Being Addressable, ICA LA is pleased to present a newly commissioned large-scale mural by artist Ad Minoliti (b. 1980, Argentina) for ICA LA’s courtyard wall. Titled Aquelarre no binario / Non-binary coven (2022), the site specific work uses geometric shapes as representations of physical forms and their spatial relationship to one another, creating an abstract topography of queer intimacies. Minoliti’s work explores fantasies in dialogue with techno-feminism, sci-fi, and speculative narratives.

View of ICA LA courtyard mural by Ad Minoliti featuring four vertical panels, each filled with abstracted representations of figures in vivid reds, yellows, oranges, purples, and pinks.
Alternate view of the exterior mural by Ad Minoliti with the front entrance and logo of ICA LA in view.
