Stream ICA LA
Stream ICA LA features curated playlists inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and special projects. Grab your headphones and tune in for a new way to experience ICA LA, both on-site and virtually!
Our first playlist, ‘90021’ highlights songs that ICA LA’s Representative Darline Morales has heard while walking throughout the museum’s neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles. Artists include Ana Gabriel, Beyoncé, and The Chi-Lites. The songs move across genres and languages. ‘90021’ pairs with Rafa Esparza’s ‘de la Calle’ (of the Street), on view in the Project Room through July 15th.
‘Present Futures’ features artists speaking on gender, the body and their relationship to the world, such as Ibeyi and Frank Ocean. The playlist pairs with ‘sisters and brothers’ - a group exhibition of early video works by artists, Jaguar Mary (Jocelyn Taylor), Cauleen Smith and Ayanna U’Dongo, in the Annex through June 17th.
